City to take on the South East

Melbourne City has announced that we will be travelling to the south east to take on NPL sides Oakleigh Cannons and Bentleigh Greens.

We take on Oakleigh first up with the clash coming on Tuesday the 23rd of July prior to the FFA cup game. This clash will take place on cannons home ground Jack Edwards Reserve.

Then after our clash in the cup we will take on the Bentleigh Greens at Kingston Heath Reserve on Tuesday the 6th of August.

This will be the fans first chance to get a taste of life under new manager Erick Mombaert. City played the same teams in former manager

Warren Joyce’s first season at the club with a 10-0 victory over the cannons and a tight clash against the greens with a late Nick Fitzgerald strike the difference between the two teams.
